W. Jeffery Klein, MD
Dr. Klein received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and biology from the University of Virginia in 1994 and a medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1998. He then completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. In addition to obtaining advanced training in MRI and CT of the thorax, abdomen and pelvis, Dr. Klein also gained expertise in PET imaging. He joined Radiology Alliance in 2006, after practicing for several years in the Tidewater area of Virginia. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Klein is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Klein, a self-described foodie, enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and traveling. A native New Orleanian, he lives for Saints and LSU Tigers football.
