Stuart H. Caplan, MD
Dr. Caplan is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia Honors Program in Athens, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and completed a transitional residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and a diagnostic radiology residency at the St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1990, Dr. Caplan holds medical licenses in Georgia and Tennessee. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and other national and local medical societies and has served on the Tennessee Medical Association Board of Trustees. Dr. Caplan's specialty areas of expertise include breast imaging and interventional mammography. He also has a strong interest in radiology informatics. Dr. Caplan's hobbies include cooking, traveling, dining out and experimenting with graphic art.
