James M. Massey, MD, PhD
A native Nashvillian, Dr. Massey earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from David Lipscomb University. At the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, he received a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology. He received his Doctorate of Medicine and Philosophy from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Massey completed a transitional year residency program at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio and a radiology residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Before joining Radiology Alliance, Dr. Massey completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has co-authored numerous medical and scientific papers and abstracts some of which have been presented at national meetings. He also has submitted several research studies that were successfully funded. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Massey is a member of the Society for Pediatric Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and the Society for Neuroscience. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing music and working on project cars.
